Emma's Everyday Gourmet Westfield

Tried Emma's for the first time tonight(heard about it from friends). We are very fussy Italians and want to enjoy a good dinner that has to be at least as what I can cook at home. Emma's is not a disappointment! Loved the fresh tomato sauce. The veal parmesan delicious and not fried tasting because it is pan fried as opposed to most restaurants deep frying it. The portion was enough for three adults! I had shrimp fradiavlo over a bed of vegetables that was amazing. Who needed pasta?? But if you did, it was done al dente and perfect. (I forgot to mention the crazy good Olive Oil they serve with bread). The service (Diedre (sp) was our waitress) was so great that it was difficult to call her our server but seemed more like a family member. That's what the atmosphere is like...family.We felt compelled to speak to the kitchen staff to compliment them on a job well done. If I have to find any flaw it would be in the bread that is served. We would LOVE to have a nice Italian crusty, with lots of holes and yummy flavor. But if that is the only complaint, it's not much, it can be forgiven. This is a must try if you are in the area...the flavors, staff, will not disappoint I promise you. (And if they do, feel free to let them know and they will make it worth your while.)
